Make a gravel path

Simple, cheap and drains well.

A gravel path is one of the easiest backyard projects.

Steps

  1. Call 811, then mark the path with string or a hose
  2. Dig out 3 to 4 inches of soil
  3. Add edging to keep the gravel in place
  4. Lay landscape fabric if you like
  5. Add a base of crushed stone, tamp it, then top with pea gravel
